Joseph Jimenez, MD received his Medical Degree from University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and went on to complete his residency at JFK Rehabilitation Institute of NJ. Dr. Jimenez is double board certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine.
He is an expert in spinal interventional techniques including epidural injections, facet injections, trigger point injections, radiofrequency ablation (RFA) and Percutaneous Lumbar Discectomy. Dr. Jimenez is also passionate about regenerative medicine employing Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP), Exosomes and Stem Cell injections in combination with interventional techniques or musculoskeletal ultrasound guided joint injections to help heal and repair injuries to joints or to the spine. Dr. Jimenez is also a local expert in Percutaneous Tenotomy using specialized tenotomy instruments like Tenjet to repair torn muscles and tendons with removal of scar tissue and regeneration through PRP that may help avoid orthopedic surgery.
